Churchill & Blakedown’s juniors have been flying the flag for the Club against local rivals over the summer with great success in the Junior Sixes.

The team hosted four other clubs in their recent last match, coming out on top with a 104 point haul in the pairs based format played over six holes.

It capped a fine few months for the team who finished just a point behind overall winners Bromsgrove Golf Club.

Congratulations to the squad: Milan Skrbic, Ethan Weaver, Jacob Weaver, Leah Berry, Jabez Berry, Tom Worton, Elliot Toman and George Waldron.

Organiser Phil Lathwood said: “It was a fantastic experience for the juniors. They all played really well, most importantly enjoyed it and it’s a step forward for the Club as we work hard to encourage more juniors into the Club.”
