Visitors are warmly welcomed at Churchill & Blakedown all year round.

Casual Visitors, who must possess a current handicap certificate, can play weekdays by booking a tee time through the pro shop up to 2 weeks in advance. Restrictions may apply on certain days depending on availability. Visitors may also play at weekends if there is tee availability by booking through the pro shop.

A smart standard of dress is required on the course and within the Clubhouse. Please see Dress Code below.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • It is expected that all members and their guests adhere to the Dress Code standards outlined below.
  • Only Officers of the Club and the Pro shop have authority to enforce the dress code.
  • Members should be smartly dressed on the course. All items of apparel made and sold as “golf clothing” are appropriate to the course.
  • We aim to provide some “flexibility” for Junior Members in their dress attire.
FOR GENTLEMEN
A. ON THE COURSE

The following are NOT permitted on the course (excluding the green staff)
  • Blue Denim clothing.
  • Combat/Cargo Trousers (Multi-pocketed trousers).
  • Rugby or Football Shirts.
  • Collarless T-Shirts or those bearing messages or slogans.
  • Tracksuits.
  • Trainers/Deck Shoes.
  • Shorts with multi-patch (expandable) pockets.
The following requirements apply at all times
  • Golf shoes designed and soled for the purpose of playing golf.
  • Gentlemen’s shirts to be tucked into trousers.
  • Standard golf or sports shirts with collar, turtle or polo neck.
  • Golfing shorts to be worn together with sports socks white or black in colour.
B: IN THE CLUB HOUSE
DINING ROOM/LOUNGE AREA
TV LOUNGE/TERRACE
  • Smart Casual, jeans, trainers and deck shoes permitted, shirts to have collar.
  • Some events will require jacket and tie.
  • No hats to be worn in the Club House.
FOR LADIES

    • Shirts can be worn outside shorts if designed to do so.
