Lady Captain, Julie Kelly, finally managed her long awaited Lady Captain's day, and what a day it was!
The weather stayed kind and with a great turnout of 26 ladies playing an 18 hole medal and 13 ladies a 9 hole stableford, our fantastic course was very busy. The ladies enjoyed pimms and snacks on the terrace after 9 holes and then golfers and guests enjoyed a superb buffet once each group had finished playing. Julie had done her magic on the room layout and it was magnificent. There was some great golf adding to the enjoyment of the day.

There were numerous prizes to be won and the main winners were:

1st Jane Stroud net 71
2nd Sue Woolaway net 72
9 hole winner Lynda Casasola

It was a memorable day for Sue Woolaway as she also had a hole in 1 on the 13th! That is 2 weeks running that the ladies have recorded this great achievement . Well done.

Finally the Lady Captain would like to thank everyone for helping make her day so enjoyable and for the kind words, cards, gifts and donations to Mary Stevens Hospice. £550 has been raised so far.
