The Club have run the second biennial event, The Churchill and Blakedown Masters, and it attracted a large entry from the members.   Teams of both ladies and gents were drawn at random to play a two ball format with both to count.

Gareth Owen and Joe Wier were proud owners of new green jackets after blitzing the rival pairs by carding a combined 75 points and to win by a margin 11.

At the presentation dinner Gareth and Joe were presented with their jackets by the Club President Chris Palin and inaugural champion Dave Waldron, winner two years ago with Adrian Aston,.   In true masters tradition the menu for the night was chosen by Dave and Adrian.

Once again the event proved a great success and is sure to be repeated.
