The clubhouse was full of lovely ladies on the evening of Thursday 14th November, all gathered for an Estée Lauder beauty and make-up demonstration by Sarah Griffiths, lady playing member. Sarah has worked for the company, as a manager, for many years and gave us the very best professional beauty tips.
Julie Kelly, Lady Captain, was a great sport and acted as the model for the evening.
Members and friends thoroughly enjoyed the professional talk and learnt a lot about the history of this prestigious brand, along with the products and processes to achieve that ultimate personal look.
Adding to the enjoyment of the evening, there were two raffles, with great prizes, and clothing and accessories from Frox, Oldswinford to buy.
Every lady had a special Estée Lauder gift to take home; small samples to launch us into becoming the ‘Blakedown Beauties’ … we’ll see!
Thanks to all the ladies who helped in organising the event and to Sarah for a great night.
